RainPC: Turning Rainwater into Drinking Water

We give Rainwater Harvesting our special attention as it has become a significant, alternative source of water in most developing and industrialising countries. However, rooftop-harvested rainwater is not necessarily safe to drink. It is often impaired by impurities and pollutants collected in the rain as it falls. Add to this its contact with roofs and gutters, as well as storage and it may well become harmful. To combat this problem we developed RainPC MK II. This compact water treatment unit turns rainwater into safe drinking water at point-of-use (POU), and economically compares favourably to existing alternatives.
